Inside Mama's belly, just a few weeks before birth.

A tiny HN baby came into my life on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2:26pm.  Well let's be honest she wasn't that tiny at 8lbs, 6oz and 21" long.  Estelle Astrid was born.

A few hours old

She was very calm & quiet at first and slept a TON.  Turned out that she just had jaundice.  She spent some time under the bililights in the hospital before heading home.

We had many trips to the hospital & doctor's office to have blood drawn to keep track of the bilirubin levels.  The jaundice lasted for about a month. After that time her demeanor & our lives changed drastically.
